In addition, to the east, the vast Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument makes its presence known with its towering and scenic White Cliffs, one of the several immense and colorful geological ‘steps’ of the Staircase, ascending in awesome grandeur across Southern Utah. Hiking & Relaxing at ArrowheadArrowhead Country Inn provides a wonderful ‘base camp’ setting for avid hikers and casual sightseers, as well as a comfortable and peaceful atmosphere for those who want to escape the clamor of the city, or rest after a day or three of hiking. The weary traveler is advised to soak up sun by the pool, doze in the shade under the apple trees, or relax and watch the goldfish play in the pond. We understand, though, if you’d rather be out hiking. We know that nearby there are many wondrous sights to see and a multitude of trails beckoning for you to follow. When you come back from the parks, you’re welcome to pamper yourself in the Jacuzzi before dinner. After dinner, walk in our gardens or select a movie from our library and watch it in the privacy of your room. Broken Arrow RestaurantRelax in Broken Arrow’s brand new dining room, with its huge timbers, high ceiling and a great view of the White Cliffs through the big picture windows. Sip on a glass of wine or a cold beer while our classically trained chef prepares a Southwestern Chicken Cordon Blue with Roasted Raspberry Chipotle Sauce, or Steak Sonora with Carmelized Onions and Peppers and Freshly Baked Tortillas, or Maple Glazed Salmon with Red Wine Sauce - to name but a few, all served with delicious homemade Shepherd's Bread. In the morning, wake up to the aroma of fresh coffee; Strawberry Cheese Blintzes; Fluffy Pancakes topped with Maple Syrup, Peaches, Blueberries or Raspberries; Bacon or Sausage and Fresh Ranch Eggs; Peach Dutch Babies; Mt. Caramel Apple Pecan French Toast; or Ham and Cheese and Mushroom Omelets, to name just a few of our chef’s daily breakfasts specialties.
